Analysis Preparation

Select PK Submit > Analysis Wizard to access the Column Derivations and Transformations step.

Note that, if the program detects Analysis Wizard output, the Reset Analysis pop-up asks if you want to reset the analysis using the latest Merge Result worksheet. The analysis should be reset if the Merge Results worksheet has changed since the last time it was submitted to the Analysis Wizard (e.g., it has been regenerated by the Data Preparation Wizard using different or updated data sources).

Selecting Yes resets settings in the Analysis Wizard that are data-specific (e.g., excluded data selections). The Merge Result worksheet is then loaded and the first step in the Analysis Wizard (Column Derivations and Transformations) is presented. See “Analysis reset details” for details on the specific items that are reset.

Selecting No allows you to revisit the prior analysis, with all previous settings maintained. The MasterConcentration worksheet is loaded and the final step in the Analysis Wizard (Analysis Preparation) is presented. If the Merge Result worksheet has changed and this option is selected, then a careful review of each page of the Wizard should be done in light of the updated data before submitting.

The Analysis Wizard covers the following steps:

Define column derivation and transformations

Review analysis profiles

Set status codes and BLQ rules

Set up dosing

Specify corrections

Duplicate samples

Set up exclusions

Options for NCA analysis

Analysis preparation output

Explore slopes of time-concentration graphs
