Analysis reset details

When opening the Analysis Wizard, if the program detects existing output, the Reset Analysis pop-up is displayed. From there you can choose to reset the analysis or keep what was used to generate the detected output.

When should an analysis be reset?

An analysis should be reset if the Merge Results worksheet has changed since the last time it was submitted to the Analysis Wizard (e.g., it has been regenerated by the Data Preparation Wizard using different or updated data sources).

When should an analysis not be reset?

If you want to revisit the prior analysis, with all previous settings maintained, then do not reset the analysis. The Merge Result worksheet is loaded and the final step in the Analysis Wizard (Analysis Preparation) is presented. Note: If the Merge Result worksheet has changed and you do not reset the analysis, then a careful review of each page of the Wizard should be done in light of the updated data before submitting.

What does an analysis reset do?

Settings in the Analysis Wizard that are data-specific (e.g., excluded data selections) are returned to default values. The Merge Result worksheet is then loaded and the first step in the Analysis Wizard (Column Derivations and Transformations) is presented.

What changes occur when an analysis is reset?

Column Derivations and Transformations:

Expression-generated columns are cleared from the lower table and column ordering is reset to match the Merge Result worksheet.

Expression definitions are retained in the upper table (press Execute to recreate the columns).

Analysis Profiles:

Manually specified trough data is cleared from both tables and Sampling Design is reset to default.

Profile identifier selections are remembered.

Status Codes and BLQ Rules:

BLQ rule definitions are retained.

Enter Dosing Information tab:

DoseType column selections are reset to defaults (upper-left table).

Manually entered molecular weight values (upper-right table) are cleared.

Any manually entered data in the lower table are removed.

Calculate Dose Normalized Concentration tab:

Changes to menu selections above the table are reset.

Generated “DN*” columns are removed from the lower table.

Time Deviations tab:

Rule-generated columns are cleared from the lower table.

Rules and Nominal Time column selection are retained (Execute to recreate the columns).

Calculations: Baseline Corrections tab:

Method of analyte rows are reset to defaults.

Rule-generated columns are cleared from the lower table.

Rule-Based Duplication tab:

Settings above the table are reset to defaults.

Rule-generated sample duplication rows (highlighted in pink) are cleared from the lower table.

Manual Duplication tab:

Manually defined sample duplicate rows (highlighted in pink) are removed.

Concentration Exclusions:

Exclusions are cleared.

Default settings applied.
If criteria is available in a saved file, use Load Criteria and the Exclude buttons to re-create the exclusions.
