Duplicate samples
The Sample Duplication page allows for the insertion of a record at time “0” (zero) or Tau (repeated time period of dosing) if one does not exist. Typically this is accomplished by duplicating a value that exists within the profile. Sample duplication is only performed for point data (not interval data).
Note: Sample duplication cannot be applied to IV Bolus studies.
For situations when specific duplication selection is required, use the Manual Duplication tab. When more general duplication of samples is to occur, rules can be defined in the Rule Based Duplication tab.
Regardless of the method used, duplicated samples are marked as imputed. When ever final output is created for submission, these imputed duplicated samples are not included. They are only used for the analysis in the NCA.
