A manual duplication could be used in situations where, for example, the 24 hour sample for period one is available but the predose sample for period two might not have been calculated or collected. With manual duplication, the 24 hour sample can be duplicated, either for a single subject or all subjects. Additionally, manual duplication can be applied to any sample time.
Select the Manual Duplication tab.
Use the Data Column menu to identify the concentration variable to display in a pivoted format, for viewing purposes only. (Duplication is still applied to all concentration variables.)
By pivoting the data, it allows for more easily pinpointing an exact subject and see if sample duplication is needed for that subject.
From the Time Column menu, choose the time variable to display in the Results table.
Select which time to use for the duplicated sample:
Impute at uses the entered time value.
Impute Tau samples option, if Tau values exist, duplicates the Tau value of the adjacent profile.
Scroll to and double-click the sample to duplicate.
Press OK in the information dialog and double-click in the destination profile row.
In the dialog, select No to duplicate the sample only for the selected subject.
In the dialog, select Yes to duplicate the sample across all subjects in the profile.
Note: To reset the Results table, removing all sample duplications, return to the Rule Based Duplication tab and press the Reset button.
After concentration duplication:
For BLOQ concentrations that are the last concentration to the first dose, the NCA*_CONC will be cleared (empty).
For BLOQ concentrations that are the pre-dose concentration to the 2nd dose, the NCA*_CONC will be set to '0'.
All column values are copied from the original sample to the duplicated sample except for the following columns: *_time, Time*_Type, PCGRPID, *_grpid*_prefix, PCRFTDTC, NCA*_CONC, PCEXDOSE, *_treatment, AND PCKTMDEV.
The value of the *_time*_end column will be cleared (empty) for point samples.
To undo the duplication, double-click a duplicated sample cell.
Select Yes to undo duplication for all subjects.
Select No to undo duplication for the selected subject.
Select Abort to cancel without any changes.
