Executing a Darwin search requires that preferences and profiles be set up via the Pirana settings dialog. See “Darwin settings” for more information.
To execute a search, right-click the Darwin folder and select Run search or press Ctrl+R.
Select the Darwin profile to use.
Depending on the profile setup, the search will execute locally or remotely.
Press Run.
There are two ways to stop a search during execution. Both are accessed via the right-click menu for a Darwin search folder.
Stop search: Any ongoing model runs are completed before stopping the search. Generally referred to as a soft stop.
Terminate search: The search (including all ongoing model runs) is stopped immediately. Generally referred to as a hard stop.
