Refer to the “PK model options” section for descriptions of the options near the top of the tab.
Select the model response from increased concentrations from the Indirect pulldown.
Stim. Limited (limited stimulation of input)
Stim. Infinite (infinite stimulation of input)
Inhib. Limited (limited inhibition of input)
Inhib. Inverse (inverse inhibition of input)
Stim. Linear (linear stimulation of input)
Stim. Log Linear (logarithmic and linear stimulation of input)
Indicate the direction of the response:
Click Build-up to construct a model where the formation of response is concentration dependent. For example, Buildup statement with limited stimulation:
deriv(E = Kin*(1+Emax*C/(C+EC50)) – Kout*E)
Click Loss to indicate a response degradation or fractional turnover rate. This constructs a model where the degradation of response is concentration dependent. For example, a loss statement with limited stimulation:
deriv(E = Kin*(1+Emax*C/(C+EC50)) – Kout*E)
Click no Exponent/Exponent to toggle between adding and removing an exponent to/from the concentration dependent response build-up/loss term. For example, build-up with limited stimulation and exponent.
deriv(E = Kin*(1+Emax*C^gam/(C^gam+EC50^gam)) – Kout*E)
Refer to the “Residual error model options” section for descriptions of the Residual Error fields.
