Unit Conversion

Concentration and time data from different sources may require unit conversions to meet requirements.

PKSubmit_ConvUnits

To set up a concentration unit conversion:

Select an analyte from the Analyte pulldown menu.

Press the button corresponding the desired matrix (in the image above, there is only one matrix – Plasma).

Select the concentration variable from the Apply to Variable pulldown menu.

Use the three Target Unit pulldown menus to set the prefix for the mass unit, the mass unit, and the volume unit.

Press the Add button.

Repeat the steps above for each analyte and concentration column, as needed. For each concentration variable conversion, a new column is added to the Results table and is prefixed with “Converted_” followed by the variable name (e.g., Converted_Concentration). To remove one of the conversions, click the corresponding X in the table.

To set up a time unit conversion:

Select a time column from the Time Variable pulldown menu.

Press the button corresponding to the desired time unit.

Press the Add button.

Repeat the steps above for each time column as needed. To remove one of the conversions, click the corresponding X in the table.

When finished defining unit conversions, press the OK button.
