Pirana and RsNLME Known Issues
February 2021: Pirana 3.0.0/RsNLME 1.0.0 release
Pirana
Trailing spaces in mmdl block headers prevents duplication of the model (QC 65): Any extra white space after a header block in an mmdl file (e.g., ## MODEL ) will prevent duplication of the model if the Use final parameter estimates from reference model? option is checked in the Duplicate dialog.
Error message when metamodel has IV infusion and ##COLDEF containing both "ss" and "addl" statements (PRN-334): Execution of such metamodels using Certara.RsNLME::run_metamodel() may lead to missed eta shrinkage in the eta.csv file, which then causes the error message.
Xpose version 4.7.0 defect in readr package: Due to a defect introduced by readr/ package in xpose4 - v.4.7.0 that concerns reading of output tables, install a version of xpose4 > 4.7.0 from CRAN or install the latest development version of xpose4 from github using:
devtools::install_github("UUPharmacometrics/xpose4")
RsNLME
Generating estimates using the Shiny GUI estimatesUI does not work on Linux (PRN-500): The estimatesUI Shiny GUI cannot be executed from Linux to generate initial estimates. To workaround this issue, edit the mmdl file directly to change the initial estimates values or use the Model Builder Shiny application to input initial estimates in the Fixed Estimates tab.
Duplicate model for msf restart not naming restart file correctly (PRN-435): In the Restart using MSF dialog, the New MSF file field does not take entries correctly. The workaround is to enter the name for the new MSF file directly into the control file. For example:
$EST MAXEVAL=999 PRINT=5 MSF=run3.msf ...
