Managing_Projects

A project, in Pirana, is a link to a folder that enables you to quickly switch between folder contents.

In the Folder field, enter the full path to the folder in which to store the project (use icon_browse to browse).
Or double-click the folders in the model overview area to navigate to the folder).

Click icon_saveproject .

Overwrite project — Action to take if the project name already exists.

Project name — Name identifying the new project.

Press Save.

The new project is now available for selection in the Project pulldown.

Switch projects

Select a different project using the Project pulldown.

All folders, models, and files in the selected project are loaded into the Pirana window.

View/Edit project properties

Click icon_info next to the Project pulldown to view and change any project details.

Press Save to accept any changes.

Save project to a zip file

Click icon_compressproject next to the Project pulldown to compress the entire project and save it as a zip file.

In the dialog, enter a name for the zip file and press Compress.

Reload models in project

Click icon_refresh next to the Project pulldown to reload contents of the selected project.

A refresh/reload should be done when you update models or add files outside of Pirana. Also, when a run is finished, you should refresh to gather the results into Pirana.

Delete project

To delete a project from the list, click icon_deleteproject next to the Project pulldown.

The link to the folder is removed but the folder and its contents remain unchanged.
