Configuration

There are two system-wide files that are used in the configuration of grids:

PhoenixParallelExecutionSettings.txt

PhoenixParallelExecutionSettings.xml

Both are located in <Phoenix_install>/application. The list of grids in the previous figure (“Compute Grid preferences” section) comes from the PhoenixParallelExecutionSettings.txt file that is installed with Phoenix, once the comment syntax has been removed from all definitions in the file. (Initially, all but the first two platforms are commented out.)

Administrators can modify the PhoenixParallelExecutionSettings.txt and PhoenixParallelExecutionSettings.xml files to be site-specific. Each person using Phoenix can also customize the grids by placing copies of these files in: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Certara\Phoenix\ and modifying the copies.
