Licensing Phoenix with Certara Admin

Phoenix’s integration with Certara Admin’s licensing capabilities is designed as an online solution where Phoenix users are required to log into Certara Admin to gain access to products within Phoenix. Once logged in, Phoenix automatically downloads and stores a securely signed license file that is good for 30 days of offline use. Every launch of Phoenix while online, or every 24 hours of continuous online use refreshes Phoenix’s license automatically, keeping it up-to-date with configurations that administrators have set for a user. If 30 days elapse since the last connection to Certara Admin, the user is prompted to log in again to regain access to their assigned products.

Every change in licensing access prompts for a restart of Phoenix with new product access being available after a restart of Phoenix.

Product access and license assignment can be maintained by a organization’s administrator through Certara Admin’s user management tools. Licenses are granted to individual users through the assignments of individual seats of the Phoenix products.

It is expected that the user has previously been configured for access before logging into Certara Admin. If the user has not yet created an account with Certara Admin they are redirected to Certara Admin’s registration page.
