With worksheets that have many columns, it is often helpful to keep one or more columns visible while scrolling through the remaining columns. The Freeze Panes functionality in Phoenix accomplishes this.
Select column(s) to remain visible (frozen).
Click 
(Freeze Panes icon) in the main toolbar.
The selected columns and any columns to the left of the selection are frozen and will remain visible when scrolling.
