Editing_data_values_in

Click in a cell and edit the content directly in the cell or in the field above the worksheet.

If you want the same value in multiple adjacent cells:

Enter the value in the first cell.

Drag the lower right corner of the selection box until the block of desired cells is selected.

Release the mouse button.

All selected cells will have the entered value.

Note: Dragging to copy cell values will not work if the worksheet is in filtered view (see “Filtering a worksheet”). Use copy and paste instead.
