Open File in Native Application
You can open any file in its native application (i.e., MS Word, Adobe, SAS) to gain access to specialized program features like those of Adobe Professional or MS Word.
There are four ways to open a file in its native application:
Find a file reference in the Navigation pane or Details tab.
• Select the file reference.
• Right-click the mouse and select Open in Application.
Find a file reference in the Navigation pane or Details tab.
• Select the file reference and double-click on the reference.
In Life Cycle view, ensure that one File Reference is selected, not the File Reference group.
Find a file reference in the Navigation pane or Details tab.
• Navigate to the Action menu.
• Select Open in Application.
Find a file reference in the Navigation pane or Details tab.
• Choose the Open in Application icon 
inside of the Preview pane.
