To share files and sections with people outside of your organization who are not connected to your organization’s infrastructure, you can use Link2Share. For example, if a member of the FDA reviewing team cannot locate information found in a particular file or section, you can copy its location from REVIEW, paste it in an email or Word document, and send the link to the individual with the page notated within the same correspondence, or a screenshot of the information.
In the Navigation pane, select the leaf reference or section to share and right-click to bring up the context menu.
Select Link2Share to create the link to be sent.
Use Paste to add the link to an email or word document (such as a cover letter) and press Enter to convert the text into a hyperlink.
When the recipient receives the link, s/he will be able to open the node simply by clicking on it. Please note that the recipient must have the same application loaded on their infrastructure for this feature to work, if it has not been loaded into VALIDATE, the link will not be able to locate the node.
